Reports from Italy suggest Chelsea have offered Fabregas to Juventus after refusing to sell give Nemanja Matic.
The Bianconeri are known to be looking for one or potentially two quality midfielders in order to refresh their roster after the exit of Paul Pogba to Manchester United.
Matic was one of a number of targets for the Bianconeri, but Blues Coach Antonio Conte opposed the move ferociously and is believed to have convinced the player to stay.
Antonio Conte has insisted that Nemanja Matic remains an “important” part of his Chelsea plans, despite persistent links with a move to Juventus.
“Nemanja is an important player for me, and he knows this,” said Conte. There isn’t a problem with him – Nemanja was a Chelsea player and is a Chelsea player.” Conte said as quoted on Sky Sport.
Tuttosport believe that in exchange he has offered his former club the services of Spanish 29-year-old Fabregas.
Although not the Old Lady’s first choice, the Roja representative is hardly a second-rate player, and would cost up to €45m when you factor in his €7m yearly wages.
