Swedish top flight side Djugardens IF has been trying out two Kenyan internationals David Cheche Ochieng and Michael Olunga in view of completing moves ahead of the 2016 season and the two have been listed for the second preseason friendly match against Gefle on Saturday 30 January.
Whereas Cheche will be in the starting line up, his mate, Olunga has been named to start on the bench.
Cheche is billed to be the replacement the club is shopping for following club skipper Emil Bergstro who is reported to be on his way to Russia to join Rubin Kazan and will be partnering Omar Colley at the heart of the defence.
While Olunga went for trials earlier, it seems the club will prefer to have Cheche more, to fill in the defensive gap.
Starting XI: Hampus Nilsson, Tim Björkström, David Ochieng, Omar Colley, Elliot Pert, Jesper Karlström, Alexander Faltsetas, Kevin Walker, Daniel Berntsen, Sebastian Andersson, Tino Kade Werewolf.
After the friendly match, the team will pitch camp in Turkey for preseason training.
