The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Week 26 clash pitting Chemelil Sugar at home to Ulinzi Stars at the Chemelil Sports Complex on Saturday 24 September has been affected by minimal changes to the schedule for the weekend.
The match was initially scheduled to kick off at 3pm but now the KPL management in a communique sent to media houses, indicates the match will now kick off one hour earlier – at 1400hrs.
The shift is occasioned by the weather conditions in the afternoons in the western parts of Kenya where it has been raining heavily.
“This is to inform you that the kick-off time for Match No 211, Chemelil Sugar v. Ulinzi Stars, scheduled to be played on Saturday 24 September 2016 at the Chemelil Sports Complex, has been brought forward by one hour. The match will now kick-off at 2PM.
“This change has been prompted by the need to prevent the match from being rained off as the region is experiencing heavy rains in the afternoons,” the statement from the KPL read.
