The Nigeria Football Federation have officially confirmed that the home-based Super Eagles will start camping and begin preparations for the African Nations Championships, CHAN in Abuja on Monday, December 14, 2015.
A twit on the official twitter handle for the Super Eagles on Sunday indicate that the local-based stars will camp at the Bolton White Hotels and Apartments, Abuja.
The NFF also announced that the list of players that will compete for places in the team will be released soon even as 366football.com gathered that as much as 30 players could be invited for the first camping exercise.
Some of those expected to make the roster include skipper of the side Gbolahan Salami, his assistant, Chima Akas, goalkeepers, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Femi Thomas, as well as the likes of Austin Obaroakpo, Chisom Chikatara, Paul Onobi and Ezekiel Bassey are expected to be named in the squad among others.
The Eagles qualified for the competition following a 2-0 aggregate win against Burkina Faso.
Nigeria will play in Group C in the competition alongside Tunisia, Niger and Guinea.
Rwanda will host the competition from January 16 to February 7, 2016
