The Home based Eagles had their second training since their arrival in Kigali, Rwanda on Saturday as they geared up for their opening CHAN Group C clash against Niger on Monday .
The Eagles had their tactical session by 9.30am under Head Coach Sunday Oliseh who was deeply involved in the training.
Recall that on Friday, the team trained by 5pm just hours after they landed in Rwanda after a three-hour flight from Johannesburg.
While the matches at the 2016 CHAN have be scheduled to be played on artificial pitches, officials have disclosed that weather conditions are excellent with the temperature put at 22 degrees.
“The whole place is all green, it is like it has been raining. The weather is like what we had in South Africa,” said one team official.
As a a form motivation, the Nigerian ambassador in Rwanda visited the squad and promised to provide Nigerian food to them.
