Home base Eagles Captain Chima Akas has assured that he and his teammates will strive hard to win their final group game against Guinea next Tuesday at the ongoing African Nations Championships.
Akas who admitted that the last game against Tunisia was quite told reporters that they will hope to end the group phase on a high.
“The Tunisia match was very tough, we really tried our best, we were not able to keep our lead, we will try to win our next match against Guinea and win well.” the defender declared.
Super Eagles will play their final Group C game against Guinea in Rubavu next week Tuesday. Nigeria are top on the standings with four points while Tunisia and Guinea are tied on two points, Niger have their survival hopes intact despite occupying the base of the standings in Group C with just a point.
