The Super Eagles duo of Carl Ikeme and Sone Aluko were both on the winning sides in the New Year’s Day Championship clashes with their respective clubs.
While Ikeme was quite colossal in-between the sticks for Wolverhampton as they snatched a lone goal win away against Brighton, Aluko could only watch from the bench as the Tigers secured a dramatic late win.

For Wolves, they clinched their third consecutive victory as a first-half own goal by Connor Goldson gifted them a 1-0 win over faltering Brighton.
Ikeme came to the rescue of Wolves in a couple of occasions as they have jumped into the first half of the log.
