The Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Senior Challenge will resume this year after failing to take place in 2014 following Ethiopia’s last minute withdrawal as hosts.
The CECAFA Secretariat has released the timelines for the tournament which will be in its 38th edition, to be hosted by Ethiopia.
The tournament will run from November 21 until December 3, 2015.
Kenya are the defending champions after winning the last edition, hosted in Nairobi, with a 2 – 0 win over Sudan in the final played at the Nyayo National Stadium.
In the tournament’s history, Uganda has won the most, with 13 titles while Kenya is second on five titles and Ethiopia is on four.
