The newly formed club that took over the franchise of Mpumalanga Black Aces, is going to need many new players to make up their squad.
Aubrey Ngoma, Lebogang Manyama, Mpho Matsi, Shu-Aib Walters, Vincent Koloba and Thabo Nodada are amongst the few players that moved from Mpumalanga to Cape Town.
CEO John Comitis spoke about the new trialists coming up.
“I’ve got to disclose that this [players retained] is pretty much the pick of Muhsin’s [Ertugral] for this coming season although he will no longer be with us,” Comitis said.
“If you look at the stats of the last few games of last season, this is the core, the stars that delivered the fourth place finish.
“We have started working really hard and we have players currently being looked at. We are still expecting a few more trialists, from as far as Australia and Spain,” he added.
“This is a team for the City so you can also expect a lot of Cape Town born players.”
