Nigeria League champions Enyimba have been drawn to face Vipers of Uganda in the preliminary round of next year’s CAF Champions League while the country’s other flag bearers Warri Wolves have been pitched to face Praia Cruz from Cape Verde.
The matches will be played between February 12 and 28.
As stated by CAF on Friday, two-time African champions Enyimba will first play away to Vipers before they welcome the Uganda champions to the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba for the second leg.
The overall winners will keep a date in March with the winners of the preliminary round matches between lioli of Lesotho and Vital ‘O from Burundi.
Wolves on their part will host the first leg with the overall winners facing Al Merriekh of Sudan in the next round of the competition.
This fixtures were made public following the conclusion of Friday’s draw for the continent’s two major club competitions, the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.
