The Burkina Faso national football team, Burkinabe, will be pitching a two day camp in Kenya in their preparations for an upcoming 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
The team will be taking on Comoros on Sunday 5 June in a Group D game and felt camping in Kenya on their way there would be ideal given the two nations’ climatic conditions are almost similar.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) confirmed the team arrived in Nairobi on Thursday 2 June and will be staying at the Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi.
The team will, during their time in Kenya, be training at the artificial turf in Karen area at the GEMS Cambridge School.
“Burkina-Faso are in the country en-route to Comoros, the team which is currently staying at the Ole Sereni Hotel will be in the country for two days and are scheduled to have a light training session at 3pm today, at the GEMS Cambridge school in Karen,” the FKF stated.
Apart from Comoros, Burkina Faso are with Uganda and Ghana as well in the group.
