Bologna have officially confirmed that Coach Delio Rossi has been relieved of his duties.
The Rossoblu have had a poor start to the season, taking just six points from their opening 10 games, and went down 1-0 to 10-man Inter last night.
Reports emerged this morning that Rossi’s time was up, with former Parma Coach Roberto Donadoni mooted as his replacement, and the club has now confirmed his dismissal.
“Bologna FC announces that first-team Coach Delio Rossi has been relieved of his duties,” a statement on Bologna’s official website announced.
“He goes with heartfelt thanks for his professionalism and competence. The club wishes him and his staff the best of luck in their professional careers.”
Rossi becomes the second Coach to lose his job in Serie A this season, with Fabrizio Castori dismissed by Carpi last month.
