Former Argentina manager Marcelo Bielsa pulled off one of the most dramatic resignation in the history of football as he quit from his job as Lazio manager after just two days in charge.
The former Argentina coach only joined the Serie A side on Wednesday.
The Italian club are threatening the Argentine with legal action following his dramatic change of heart after he was set to arrive in Rome to start work on Saturday.
A Lazio statement read: “We note with amazement the resignation of Marcelo Bielsa in clear violation of the commitments and agreements signed last week and filed with the Italian Football Federation.”
Lazio is the club with the registration of Nigeria’s midfield battler Ogenyi Onazi who only on Wednesday posted a video on Instagram of his return to training with other teammates but now they are left without a manager.
