Brazil have lined-up Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira for the international friendly against the Nigerian U23 side ahead of the Olympic Games.
The Brazilian U23’s take on their Nigerian counterparts later this month in an international friendly as build-up to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games which they are hosting, and have included the 20-year old in their squad for the game.
Pereira is one of 10 Europe based players that have been selected by coach Rogerio Micale – and incidentally, Pereira played against the Nigerian U20 at the last FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand, and that team was handled by Micale.

It is expected to be a full-strength Brazil side, as they have also called on Rafael Alcantara of Barcelona and Felipe Anderson of Lazio, while Nigeria is expected to field an under-strength team as most of their U23 players have been called up for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt also this month.
The Nigerian team will also not have its head coach, Samson Siasia, who has been drafted to the Super Eagles on an interim basis for the games against Egypt, and the team will be led to Brazil by assistant coach, Fatai Amao.
The Nigerian team won the U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal last year, which served as qualifier for the Olympic Games, while Brazil have qualified automatically as hosts.
The football event of the Olympic Games kicks off on August 3, and Nigeria will know their group foes on April 14 when the draws are conducted in Rio de Janeiro.
