The two appeal cases filed at the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Electoral Appeals Board will be determined on Monday 8 February after the Board sat on Saturday 6 February to deliberate on the applications stemming from the Brach elections in Western and Nyanza South.
From NyanzaSouth Peter Omwando, Jared Nyauma Ondiek, Leonard Mosoti and James Marwanga filed the appeal citing their concerns that a number of voters were locked out of the process held on Tuesday 26 January.
From Western Branch, former Harambee Starlets coach Fred Serenge the aspirant for the secretary’s post appealed on grounds that the list used in the voting process was different from the one used in the actual polls.
The Appeals Board listened to the submissions from the appellant from Western Branch and directed that the ruling will be made on Monday.
As for the Nyanza South appeal, the case was not heard as the appellants presented a bank slip dated 2015 and the Board could not verify whether or not they had paid the appeals fees.
As such they were directed to seek the necessary clearance from their bank and present the reeipt latest by 9am on Monday for their case to be handled.
