Former Super Eagles manager Jo Bonfrere has urged current coach Sunday Oliseh to improve his man-management skills.
Oliseh has been involved some controversies in his early days as Super Eagles boss which has led to the retirements of Emmanuel Emenike and the most capped player in the history of Nigeria, Vincent Enyeama.
‘Sunday Oliseh was a good footballer, a brilliant Captain and his teammates will always have him talk. He could talk to the NFF and the even the Sports Minister but as Coach he must learn to deal with the same thing he brought as a player,’ the Dutchman said.
‘He’s in charge of a bigger team, professional players with huge egos so they must learn to dialogue and be diplomatic.’
Bonfrere led Nigeria to Gold in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the final of the 2000 Africa Nations Cup and was assistant to Clement Westahoff at the USA 94’ World Cup.
