Keamogetse Wolff, Wade Jooste and Alushavhiwe Marubini head the list of players that will be leaving Bloemfontein Celtic during the winter. The club announced that the trio will not be part of plans for the new season.
Other players that will be leaving Siwlele following one of their poorest season in the Absa Premiership, when they finished 11th, are Julius Likontsane and Thabang Matuka.
The pair will be sent on loan in 2016/17.
Celtic also announced that Helder Pelembe will be returning to parent club Orlando Pirates after what a statement termed as “an unsuccessful loan spell” by the Mozambican.
“The team would love to thank the players for their contribution and wishes them a very productive future wherever they will be playing next season,” the message read. “As part of its preparation, Celtic is currently negotiating with various teams trying to secure quality players and will soon announce those joining the club.”
Celtic chief executive officer, Khumbulani Konco, added: “We are absolutely delighted by the prospect of signing phenomenal players that will come and definitely add value in the team.
“Together with the technical team, we have identified and subsequently made proper enquiries about players we are hoping to sign. Trust me when I say they are brilliant individuals who will help us reach our goals next season.
“However, we must be appreciative enough to thank those leaving the club for having played a pivotal role in trying to help us achieve as a team. They are good players but we unfortunately have to allow them seek greener pastures elsewhere.”
