The Guinea Bissau head coach Cande Baciro is in Kenya on a mission; to compound the Harambee Stars woes in the race for a slot at the 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals when the two sides meet for the Sunday 27 March qualifier in Nairobi.
Guinea Bissau beat Kenya 1 – 0 in the reverse fixture on Wednesday 27 March and the coach admits he is in Kenya to complete the job.
He says he will not be changing their style of play from the opening clash though he noted that a lot of caution will be employed given Kenya is a tough side and will be playing at home.
“We will not be all out to defend; we will just play our game like we did in Bissau. I do not want to change much in the team though we will miss a number of our key players. We have come for a win and hopefully we will get it.
“I will however be employing a lot of caution because Kenya are at home and they are a strong team, as we saw in the first leg,” he said.
Guinea Bissau are third in the group on four points, just one below the leading duo on Zambia and Congo. Kenya on the other hand, lies bottom with a point from three matches.
