Congolese striker Bebeto Lwamba has officially been confirmed at Muhoroni Youth FC after weeks of training with the club following the relegation of Nakuru AllStars after the 2015 Kenyan Premier League season.
Bebeto spent the last five months of the 2015 season on loan at AllStars from Sofapaka but the Muho chair Moses Adagala confirms the Nyanza side has acquired his services on a permanent.
He signed a three year deal with the sugar belt side and will be expected to bolster the team’s attack that also has Nigerian Abbas Akinyemi.
“As you are aware Bebeto started training with us after the 2015 season and so far he has impressed the coaches. They recommended that we give him a deal and we had to be careful since this is a foreign player.
“We managed to work out his contract and now I can confirm he is our striker for the next three years,” Adagala said.
Muhoroni Youth managed their all time best, finishing sixth in the 2015 season and will be looking to maintain the standards when the 2016 season comes.
Their major setback though will lie in the fact that the team lost head coach Paul Nkata, who left for Tusker.
