Barcelona stars Neymar Jr, Dani Alves and Rafinha are on a list of 30 Brazilians in with a chance of winning the esteemed Samba Gold 2015 award.
Neymar Jr, Dani Alves and Rafinha are the three Brazilian FC Barcelona players who are nominees for the Samba Gold 2015 award.
The prize is awarded to the best Brazilian player of the year in Europe by the magazine Sambafoot. The voting process has changed this time around, with eleven Brazilian journalists, famous figures of the past like Cafu and Taffarel, and users who vote via the website (www.sambafoot.com/en/samba-gold) deciding the winner which will be announced in February.
Last season’s winner was Neymar, who gained 29.2% of the votes while Dani Alves came second in 2011 behind PSG defender Thiago Silva.
