Barcelona are now leveled with Real Madrid on points at the summit of the La Liga table following the comeback 5-2 win over Rayo Vallecano at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
Brazilian forward, Neymar was the star attraction as he scored four of the goals to help Barcelona triumph and also earn crucial three points on the night.
Despite dominating early exchanges, Barcelona fell behind in the 15th minute as Javi Guerra arrived to guide in Bebe’s fierce delivery from close range.
The Neymar show was to commence afterwards as the Brazilian secured the equaliser from the penalty spot after he was clearly brought down from behind by Diego Llorente. Neymar sent the keeper the wrong way to level scores for Barcelona.
Ten minutes later Neymar was on hand to convert another penalty kick awarded to Barcelona to put the hosts in front going in for half time.
Neymar completed his hat-trick for Barcelona in the 69th minute with a simple finish, after Tono had parried an effort from Suarez into his path.
Within a minute the visitors were punished further as Suarez broke clear of the defence and squared the ball for Neymar to touch in his fourth goal of the match.
Barcelona were not finished and seven minutes later Suarez added his name to the scoresheet when he was picked out by Neymar the back post and fired past Tono.
Jozabed pulled a goal back for Rayo in the closing stages but it was too little to late to deny Barca maximum points
