Chemelil Sugar FC head coach Francis Baraza led the team to yet another crucial win in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash against Bandari FC at the Afraha Stadium on Wednesday 10 August.
New signing Victor Ochieng scored the lone goal as the visitors ran out 1 – 0 winners, to Baraza’s appreciation.
Speaking after the match, Baraza stated that he will continue entrusting his young players with lead roles in the team and will not shy away from naming them for the big matches.
“I am happy with their contribution; they have formed a key part of the team in the second leg and I will continue trusting them because as you can see, the trust is paying off.
“At the same time I can’t forget the role played by the senior and experienced players in the team. The two groups of players form a perfect blend that has enabled us to rise this far,” he said.
The win saw the Millers rise to third place with 33 points.
