Mombasa side Bandari FC will be going back to Mombasa next week after a series of friendly matches in the capital and head coach Twahir Muhiddin says he is happy with the team’s Nairobi camp.
The team played two friendly matches with the second one seeing the team held by newly promoted side Posta Rangers and the first against Wazito FC and the coach is confident that the experience will help the team in the game against Gor Mahia on Saturday 6 January.
“We have had a good stay in Nairobi and the training here was also good; after playing two matches I have to says I am very impressed with what I have seen. We are planning to head back to Mombasa soon to continue with the preparations.
“We will be facing Gor Mahia in the Super Cup clash next week and we will be ready for them,” he said.
The team is scheduled to leave Nairobi for Mombasa on Tuesday 2 February.
