Real Madrid are determine to keep Gareth Bale at the club until 2023 with a new seven-year deal.
The 26-year-old is heavily linked with Manchester United who are his long-term admirers and missed out on his signature in 2013 from Tottenham as he decided to join Real Madrid.
At the Bernabeu he has scored 58 times in 123 matches for the Spanish giants and won two UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey.
According to the Daily Mail, the La Liga outfit are preparing to put a new seven-year deal on the table which would run until 2023 and make the Welsh winger one of the highest-paid players in the world and cement his long-term future in the Spanish capital.
Bale is currently with the Wales national team at the ongoing Euro 2016 and has inspired them to the round of 16.
