Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Sony Sugar is not made up of the best starts in the league but the team, under stand in coach Salim Babu has managed to shake well established sides in the championship.
The Millers’ latest victim was Thika United whom the Awendo side beat 2 – 0 on Sunday 4 October and the coach admits the players did a splendid job.
The team is ninth after the win and Babu believes his team’s top half ambition will be achieved.,
“I was impressed with the team’s output in the match and the way they were willing to work hard; going to the game we all knew it would be a tough one and the boys stuck to the instructions and we got an important win.
“What we want is a place in the top half and I think that is achievable. To reach there we have to win all our remaining matches,” he said.
