Sony Sugar FC head coach Salim Babu will be hoping to complete the job against Sofapaka after the two sides played to a 2 – 2 draw in the KPL Top 8 semi final clash at the Afraha Stadium on Saturday 17 October.
Sofapaka twice came from behind to claw their way against the Millers with goals from Collins Shivachi and Anthony Ndolo but Babu is not lamenting at the score line though he has some concern at the defensive frailties he says will be addressed ahead of the return leg.
He is looking to engineer a win over the troubled Sofapaka in the return leg and hopes he will have a number of players back to the team.
“Though we were on the winning path, I cannot complain over the result; a draw is always better than a loss though a win is sweetest. We played well except for a few lapses in defence which we will look at ahead of the second leg.
“We had a few positives in the game; we saw their weak areas and also noted ours. That will inform our preparations for the second leg and I am also looking forward to the return of a number of players who missed the game,” he said.
