A move from ten – time Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker to newly promoted side Posta Rangers by any measure may have felt like a backward step, but not so with Jockins Atudo.
The experienced defender, well established at Tusker and with national team caps, made the move at the beginning of the year and has defended it stating that he is settled and comfortable with the Mailmen.
“Making the decision to move to Posta Rangers was not tough; it is all about looking at what they have to offer and make the decision. Personally, I did not feel it was a negative move in any way.
“Rangers gave me a good deal and I am comfortable here as we look to make it a good season,” he said.
The defender played the entire 90 minutes as Posta Rangers registered a 2 – 0 win over Muhoroni Youth in their KPL opener on Sunday 14 February.
