The draw for the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League conducted on Friday 18 March has placed holders Barcelona against Atletico Madrid in an all – Spanish encounter, the pick of the draw.
In the two legged ties, Barcelona will play the first leg at home before touring the capital for the second leg in a repeat of the 2014 quarter finals where Atletico dumped Barcelona out on a 2 – 1 aggregate.
In the other mouthwatering tie, French Ligue 1 champions PSG will have another trip to England to take on Manchester City who are first timers in the quarters. PSG will start at home before touring Manchester for the second leg.
German giants Bayern Munich will take on Portuguese side Benfica in the other face off with the Bavarians starting at home while Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid will start at home against Wolfsburg.
The Real Madrid – Wolfsburg clash will present the first time the two meet in Europe.
