He missed the start of the season with a knee injury that kept him out from November 2014.
“It’s not easy to be sidelined for such a long time,” Asamoah told the Juventus official website.
“I’ve been watching games at home or at the stadium with an ever increasing desire to be back out there alongside my teammates.
“I’m training everyday with the team in order to get back to full fitness. I can tell I’m improving day by day and I’m happy.
“By remaining on this track, I’ll be back to my old self – my career is still a long one and I’ve got many years ahead of me.”
The 26-year-old joined Juventus from Udinese in 2012, winning three Serie A titles.
“I’ve had great support from my family, staff and teammates who have always been able to find the right words to give me the positivity I required on my road to recovery,” Asamoah added.
“Now, I’m on my way back and I can’t wait to be out on the pitch.”
