Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger says midfielder Aaron Ramsey is “very down” after suffering another hamstring injury in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
Ramsey was forced out 12 minutes after the interval in Arsenal’s 2-0 Champions League win over Bayern Munich.
The Arsenal boss says Ramsey will miss Saturday’s Premier League game against Everton and could be out for some time.
“He’s very down, he told me that the hamstring is a tough one. He’s out yes. The Arsenal manager said as quoted on BBC Sports.
Ramsey’s career has been blighted by hamstring injuries and was sidelined on three separate occasions during the 2014-15 season.
The former Cardiff player’s injury comes a week after he helped Wales qualify for next summer’s European Championship in France.
Wales are set to announce a November friendly against Netherlands, their first Euro 2016 warm-up match.
