Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the trio of Laurent Koscielny, Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs could be available for Saturday’s visit of Sunderland.
Koscielny, 30, limped off in the first half of Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Norwich last Sunday, while Walcott has been sidelined since October with a calf problem.
Confirming the availability of the trio, Wenger in a statement on the club’s official website on Friday said;
“We will make a decision on Saturday on Koscielny and Walcott, they could both make the squad. Gibbs is available again for the weekend.
“At the moment on Alexis, Santi and Mikel, we don’t know how long they will be out for.” Wenger stated.
Cazorla injured his knee in the 1-1 draw against Norwich last weekend and reports suggest the 30-year-old could be out for four months while Sanchez pulled a hamstring in the same game.
