Arsenal fans have been incensed that a former player who is considered a Gunners legend would pose for a photo with “the enemy” ahead of Tuesday’s crucial UEFA Champions League clash.
The angry Arsenal fans were outraged by former captain Thierry Henry posted a picture of himself with Barcelona’s attacking trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar ahead of their Champions League clash at the Emirates.
The Frenchman, who played for the gunners between 1999 and 2007 before moving to Barcelona in 2007 where he spent three seasons is still considered one of North London side’s greatest players ever, having led them to the 2006 Champions League final against the same opponent – Barcelona which the Gunners lost 2-1.
Henry in a twitter post on Monday wrote;
