English Premier League side Arsenal will be without Alexis Sánchez and Santi Cazorla for their crucial UEFA Champions League trip to Olympiacos next week’s match, according to the Mirror.
Alexis Sánchez limped off during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Norwich City on Sunday, suffering a hamstring injury midway through the second half.
Just as Santi Cazorla who picked up a knee injury in the weekend’s draw.
Cazorla will have further scans to determine the full extent of his injury but the newspaper believes he is certain to miss the Champions League game where Arsenal need to win by a scoreline other than 1-0 or 2-1.
As if the task wasn’t difficult enough, losing two more star players just intensifies the situation as Arsenal really do have a mountain to climb. The Gunners’ injury situation simply continues to get worse.
Some good news for the North London club is that Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have both made their returns from injury so Arsenal do have players ready to step-in.
