Ghanaian legend Stephen Appiah has denied reports about his lack of special treatment in a VIP box this week.
Stephen Appiah visited the Hearts and Bechem United game at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League. He explained his unusual movement out of the VIP box for the game.
“It’s not true that I was denied a seat at the VIP. I was given a seat but I was with my wife and kids as well as my friend and his wife. So I couldn’t have accepted that,” Appiah told Hearts board member Alhaji Akanbi.
Ghanaian reports claimed that Stephen Appiah was treated badly in VIP and had an altercation with Hearts of Oak officials. Stephen Appiah denied all these stories.
