The General Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Gerald Ankrah has stressed the criteria for the type of coach he wants to lead his team.
Edward Ansah’s contract has expired after taking over on a temporary basis, following the sacking of Herbert Addo. Now, they will take their time to find a permanent solution.
“Several factors will be considered especially experience, financial demands and their vision for this club,” Ankrak told their official club newspaper, Hearts News.
“We want a candidate who has what it takes to make Hearts an African football powerhouse once again.
“We deserve better than what we have done over the past few years and the best opportunities. We have to correct our mistakes now.”
Italian Roberto Landi, Croatian Zdravko Logarusic, technical trainer Can Vanli and goalkeeper trainer Edward Ansah have all been linked with the opening.
“The search is on and we are hopeful of appointing a substantive coach any time soon before we commence our preseason programmes,” Ankrah added.
