Flying Eagles manager Emmanuel Amuneke says that his wards are focused ahead of the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying second leg match against the Young Swallows of Burundi on Saturday.
The game is billed for Saturday in Calabar and Nigeria have the advantage after winning the first leg 1-0 away in Bujumbura.
Speaking exclusively to FCNaija.com, the former FC Barcelona and Super Eagles winger said: “We are focused ahead of the second leg. The first leg was good for us as we picked the three points at stake.
“We are optimistic, the boys are happy and by the grace of God it will be another great result for us on Saturday.”
Amunike was promoted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to the Flying Eagles after he guided the national Under-17 team to the FIFA World Cup title.
