Super Eagles winger Sone Aluko and Chuba Akpom will be in the company of Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell after he agreed a deadline day move to Hull City.
A deal was reached in the final stages of the January transfer window and the switch to Steve Bruce’s promotion-chasing Tigers is the third temporary transfer for the England Under-21 international.
The 21-year-old returned from injury late last year and featured in December’s first-team games against Wolfsburg and Bournemouth in the UEFA Champions League and premier league respectively.
Speaking with Hull’s official website, Powell said: “I wanted to get more game-time. I haven’t played in a long time and I’ve been injured quite a lot. Hopefully that’s in the past for me now – I’m striving to get more games and play football again.”
Powell debuted in Under-18s football aged just 15, and was still only 16 when he made his competitive senior debut at Cheltenham Town in August 2010.
