Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has warned title rivals Leicester City that Spurs will approach their final games of the campaign with the same mentality that they have had all season.
Premier League leaders Leicester City dropped points against West Ham United on Sunday and gave Spurs the opportunity to cut the lead to five and took full advantage with a 4-0 drubbing of Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.
Alli, who is of Nigerian decent grabbed a brace alongside strike partner Harry Kane but the youngster could easily have made it an hat-trick only to see his effort hit the post after rounding off Stoke keeper Shay Given.
“We have had the same mentality all season, it is important to keep going all season,” Alli told Sky Sports News.
“I don’t know how I missed that chance! Finishing training for me I think. I am just enjoying playing, there is nothing to be scared of. Leicester know we are going to keep fighting.”
Tottenham Hotspurs last four matches of the season includes West Bromwich Albion (h), Chelsea (a), Southampton (h) and Newcastle United (a) in their final four games of the season.
