Algerian International Riyad Mahrez is set to be rewarded for his good form this season with an improved contract at Leicester City.
Mahrez only agreed a new deal worth £35,000 a week last summer but having since scored 14 goals with an impressive ten assists, the club has decided to offer him an improved contract.
According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old will be made one of the club’s top earners alongside premier league topscorer Jamie Vardy to ward off the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City who are monitoring his situation with the Foxes.
Mahrez joined the Claudio Ranieri’s side from French side Le Havre for just £400,000 in 2014.
