Nigeria forward, Ahmed Musa has scored his sixth eague goal for the season as he was on target for CSKA Moscow in their 0-2 away win over city rivals Dynamo Moscow on Sunday.
Musa who was also on target in the Champions League 3-2 win over PSV will hope to carry the goal scoring form to the national team camp in Belgium as the Super Eagles get set for a double header against Cameroon and Congo.
Sunday’s Moscow derby was barren in the first half but Swedish midfielder Pontus Wernbloom broke the deadlock two minutes after restart off an assist from Alan Dzagoev.
Musa then popped up in the 77th minute to practically seal the maximum points after combining well with his African compatriot Seydou Doumbia.
The win keeps CSKA on top of standings in the Russian top flight as they now have 29 points from 11 games. Interestingly, also Musa is now joint top scorer in the Russian Premier League.
