Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants AFC Leopards have been ordered to pay all outstanding dues to eight players who were dismissed by the club after the first half of the season.
The Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee (IDCC) has ordered the club to make payments amounting to Kshs 2.1 million as unpaid salary and allowances to the players released, up to the month of June.
Khalid Jumaan will be the biggest winner in the ruling, as he is set to receive Kshs 800,000 while Clement Mata will be getting half a million as per the ruling.
The IDCC ruling stated in part: THAT by Consent of the Parties the unpaid salary arrears and allowances for the claimants, up to and including the Month of June 2016, as set out hereunder be paid to the Claimants through the Claimants’ Advocates on record on or before the 17th June 2016.
