Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants AFC Leopards will be handing out contracts to four members of the technical bench, the club’s co-chairman Mathews Opwora has confirmed.
Technical Jan Koops, Joseph Milimo, the Team Manager, Nicholas Muyoti, the Assistant Coach and the Goalkeeper coach John Busolo will be handed two year deals after operating on a gentleman’s agreement from January.
“The four have been working without contracts and that can be a bit upsetting so we have made the move to assure them of their future and our understanding and support. They will each be handed two year contracts just like the head coach.
“We want them all to work as a team for the good of the club and it was important that they do so with contracts and their futures assured,” Opwora said.
He further revealed that the quartet’s deals will be backdated to January 4 2016.
