Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is eyeing up four more signings this summer to shape up his squad, according to reports.
The Daily Mail reports that Conte is hoping to tie up deals for a centre forward, two defenders and one back-up goalkeeper.
The Blues have already signed Belgium striker Mitchy Batshuayi from Marseille, and it is reported that they are still hoping to land a world-class forward before the start of the season.
It appears they have given up hope of landing Everton’s John Stones, and are now looking at Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and young Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.
They are also eyeing AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez to come in as back-up to Thibuat Courtois, the report also suggests.
Lindelof is a 22-year old Swedish central defender who plays for Benfica and has recorded significant improvements over the last year and was part of the Sweden squad to the Euros and played all three games before they were eliminated.
Last year he was playing for the Sweden U21s and helped them win the European U21 championship.
Reports in Portugal have claimed Chelsea have agreed a £26m deal with Benfica but the stumbling block being the method of payment as the English club is believed to want to pay the sum in installments, while Benfica favour recieveing the entire fee ahead.
