Ahmed Musa will complete a N7.3b ($21m) move to English champions Leicester City from CSKA Moscow this week, fcnaija.com can confirm.
The attacker will fly into England on Tuesday, and will sign the dotted lines immediately he passes a medical, a source has confirmed.
“Musa’s move to Leicester is a done deal, they are paying $21m for him, which is over N7.3b when converted to naira in today’s exchange rate,” a source close to the player told fcnaija.com.
“He will definitely sign this week, once he passes a medical,” the source added.
Corroborating this development is CSKA Moscow coach, Leonid Slutsky, who also confirmed they have secured a replacement for the Nigeria international.
“Musa Flies on Tuesday (to England), the move is to the champion of the Premier League, ” Slutsky confirmed through Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
“Soon a good striker will come to CSKA, a foreigner. I am not going to call the surname, I think it will be announced next week,” he added.
Musa joined CSKA in 2012 from VVV Venlo, and went on to establish himself as a mainstay in the Army club.
