Victor Moses has been ruled out of Nigeria’s international friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg later this month, fcnaija.com can confirm.
The 25-year old has informed the Nigeria Football Federation that he will be unavailable for the matches, making the number of withdrawals from the squad for the games to five.
“Victor Moses will not play in the friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg,” a source at the Nigeria Football Federation revealed to fcnaija.com.
“I am told he has an injury and won’t be able to make the games as a result,” the source added.
The Super Eagles play the Mali and Luxembourg in two international friendly games on May 27 and 30 in France and Luxembourg respectively.
Moses spent last season on loan at West Ham United and will be returning to his parent club Chelsea, after the Hammers refused to sign him on a permanent basis.
