Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has seen one of his goals nominated for the Manchester City goal of the month for the month of April.
Iheanacho, 19, scored twice in April, both goals coming against Stoke City as they won 4-0 and it is the second of both goals that has been nominated alongside nine other goals for the goal of the month award for April.
Also nominated are Sergio Aguero, Aleksander Kolarov, Aaron Nemane and Rodney Kongolo (U18s), Nikita Parris (Ladies), Bersant Celina (U21s), all with one goal each, while Kelvin De Bruyne got the highest number of nominations, as three of goals were nominated for the award.
As it stands, Iheanacho will have to see off competition from the other goals for his goal to be crowned goal of the month.
The nominated goal was scored after Iheanacho was put through by Ivoirian striker, Wilfried Bony, the youngster then went past the Stoke defenders who had no answer to him, before going past goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard to complete his brace in that game.
He has emerged as one of the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing campaign for City, scoring 13 goals so far in all competitions.
