No less than seven overseas-based players invited for the crucial back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt have arrived the country as at 8.15am on Monday, fcnaija can report.
Although as at the time of filing this report, only four of those are at the Super Eagles’ Bolton White Hotel camp and they are: Alex Iwobi; Aminu Umar, Shehu Abdullahi, Godfrey Oboabona and John Obi Mikel, who is the latest player to hit camp.
The others that have arrived the country but are being expected in the camp later this morning are Aaron Samuel and Efe Ambrose.
Aaron Samuel, who is on loan at CSKA Moscow from Chinese club Guangzhou R&F, arrived Nigeria on Sunday evening after featuring in the Russian Premier League on Saturday, and is expected to hit camp any minute.
Efe Ambrose and John Obi Mikel arrived in the early hours of Monday aboard a British Airways flight at about 5.50am and while Mikel has since arrived the camp as at 8.15 am, Ambrose was still being expected.
More players are also being expected to hit the camp this morning.
