Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy has launched a brand new Bentley Continental in celebration of his new bumper deal with the Foxes.
Vardy recently agreed an improved three-and-half year contract worth around £75,000 a week and images from England as made available on the Daily Mirror reveals the former non-league hotshot has treated himself to the £168,000 luxury automobile following the stunning pay rise.
The former Fleetwood front man Vardy who was linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, only to commit his future to Cluadio Ranieri’s table-toppers until 2019 five years ago, was plying his trade for Halifax in the Northern Premier League – now he’s the most lethal marksman in the country.
The 29-year old forward currently tops the Premier League scoring charts with 19 goals – three more than rivals Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.
Vardy becomes the latest footballer to rock up for training in a flashy new car. Controversial striker Mario Balotelli covered his Bentley in army camouflage while at Manchester City in 2012.
Stephen Ireland drove a Range Rover with pink-trim, while Burnley’s Ashley Barnes was more modest, getting from A to B in his Smart car.
Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen drove a Nissan Figaro before his move to Arsenal.
