Chelsea will make a move for Antoine Griezmann if Eden Hazard decides to leave in the summer, it is understood.
Griezmann has been in splendid form for Atletico Madrid this season and is currently one of the most sought-after attackers in Europe and Atletico – who were suspended from the transfer market at the time – had deemed him off limits to the multitude of clubs that have continually showed interest.
But with their transfer ban now suspended, it is believed Atletico will be willing to listen to offers that can trigger the player’s £60m clause, the highest in the club’s history.
Paris Saint Germain are interested in the 24-year old as they hope they can lure him back home to France, but they are also interested in Eden Hazard, as well as Real Madrid and Chelsea are hoping to capitalize on that to steal the Frenchman.
Hazard only recently signed a five-year extension to his contract but it is believed he is fed up with life at Stamford Bridge and will be willing to move if an offer comes in, with Real Madrid his preferred destination, but also wouldn’t mind a switch to Paris.
