Members of the Super Eagles B team currently playing at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda are yet to receive their match bonuses for the games against Niger Republic and Tunisia, fcnaija.com can confirm.
The players were due $2,000 for the win over Niger, while they were to be paid $1,000 for the draw against Tunisia and contrary to reports they received their allowances after the games, fcnaija.com understands the Nigeria Football Federation is yet to offset the bills.
Meanwhile, chairman of the NFF Technical Committee, Christopher Green says they will be making the payments to the players soon.
“They will get their money and I am sure they are not thinking of money at the moment,” said Green.
“Their money will be paid and they know that. Approvals have been given and it is left for disbursement,” Green added.
The team has since travelled to Gisenyi, where they will play Guinea in their final group game on Tuesday.
